40 Healthy and Easy to Pack Snacks for Travel

Packing your own food for the airport, car trips and/or weekend getaways can sound like a lot of work but it doesn't have to be. It can save families a ton of money by simply packing their own snacks. Let's face it, airport snacks can add up quick...especially for multiple people.
There are many reasons to pack at least a few healthy travel snacks on your next trip. Any seasoned traveler can share an awful story about a time they were stuck on a plane for hours with limited water and no snacks. If you travel often, this will happen and you'll be thankful to have a snack while you are stuck.
Packing your own healthy snacks can also help you resist the temptation to buy something unhealthy at the airport or at a car rest stop if you have snacks on hand.
Whether you are working on staying on track with a diet, trying to have you and your family eat healthier and/or trying to save on unnecessary spending, packing your own healthy travel snacks will help.
Here's a list I have put together on some of our family favorite healthy snacks. Almost all of these can be purchased in bulk which always makes my life easier since we have 3 kids who could eat snacks all day long if I let them.
