It would have cost us over $5,000 to fly our party of 5 to London to visit this amazing house! Instead, we're doing it for less than $980 thanks to some Fly Us To The World travel hacks.
Part of our trip was securing flights with Delta Skymiles. We only had to pay the taxes, which are noticeably higher in London than many other places like Barcelona or Paris. But, when you're trying to get to this house, you do what you have to!
Here's how you can grab a ton of Delta Skymiles for next to nothing.
American Express is revamping their Delta Skymiles cards. And they're offering some great sign up bonus offers to help you get some free flights sooner!
**Note: There is no perfect airline frequent flyer program. They are always changing and yes, often they devalue or change their structure. No one can control that, but...you can still leverage them the right way and get incredible trips for a fraction of the costs. Follow along and we'll show you how.
Some reasons we like Delta Skymiles:
- Skymiles never expire.
- There are multiple ways to earn Skymiles even if you never fly Delta.
- 5,500+ flights a day, so there's rarely a place you can't go!
- Delta has a shorter boarding process than others, which is great for families!
- Delta has great Skymile deals to get you there for less miles if you are flexible.

Looking For Even More Skymiles?
All of the Business Cards have amazing sign Up bonuses right now too! If you own your own company, you can get an additional sign up bonus regardless if you have a personal card or not.
Our Suggestions !!!
1- If you travel on Delta often like Greg does, then go with the Reserve or Platinum for the 100,000 sign up bonus! Plus, you can earn more miles on paid flights and get better upgrades. The Reserve also comes with Delta Skyclub access, which makes the yearly fee a wash, especially if you use the companion ticket wisely. The clubs are a great place to get some work done, grab free food, and better wifi. If you don't want the Skyclub, then go with the Platinum which has better spending bonuses.
2- If you do not plan to use Delta for paid flights, go with the Gold sign-up for 70,000 miles. Since there's no annual fee for the first year, you can rack up the miles and decide to keep it or not after the first year.
3- If you already have a Skymiles card from Delta, remember you can't get that sign up bonus for the same card again. So, pick a different card and grab those miles while you can.
4- If you own your own business, grab one of the business cards on top of the personal card and potentially get 200,000 Skymiles in a matter of months!
5- If you need a lot of miles, consider getting multiple bonuses among your family members and or personal/business options.
Some reminders:
- We never suggest taking out credit cards and holding a balance.
- Make sure you can hit the spending requirements American Express has without causing stress or budget issues. If you don't hit the spending requirements, you won't get the bonuses!
- Be mindful of the annual fees and make sure they fit into your budget.
- American Express only allows 1 sign up bonus per person per card. Ever. So, if you had the Delta Gold card 15 years ago, you won't be able to get that bonus again, Sign up for a different one.
- If you are looking to make a purchase where your credit is checked, know that applying for a credit card will most likely include having your credit score pulled. This could impact your score.
- Sometimes we receive affiliate bonuses if you click links through our site. It's one way we can keep sharing Fly Us To The World content and helping you travel more.
